Port Forwarding the Tactio ALTERA-04 Router for Realflight G5

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Tactio ALTERA-04 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the Tactio ALTERA-04 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your Tactio ALTERA-04 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your Tactio ALTERA-04 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The Tactio ALTERA-04 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Tactio ALTERA-04 router. By default the IP address should be set to 10.0.0.2.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default Tactio ALTERA-04 Router Username is: admin

The Default Tactio ALTERA-04 Router Password is: epicrouter


Click the Ok button to log in to your Tactio ALTERA-04 router.

Now that you are logged in to your Tactio ALTERA-04 router you should see the following:

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page.

Forward Ports 61234-61250 on the Tactio ALTERA-04

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Realflight G5 requires you to forward the 61234-61250,61300-61316 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu and then click Add This Setting.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Virtual Server page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add This Setting.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Realflight G5 on the Tactio ALTERA-04 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
