Before we can forward ports for Vuze, we need to figure out what ports Vuze is using. Here is a brief walkthrough on how to do that. Go ahead and open up Vuze.
Click Tools in the menu at the top of the program. Then click Options in the list that drops down.
In the menu on the left hand side of your screen, click Connection. On this page you should see a box called Incoming TCP / UDP listen port. You can change the port number that Vuze is using if you like. The number that is in that Port box is the port that you will have to forward.
Please enter the number that was in that box below.
Now that you are logged in to your Trendnet TEW-411BRP+ router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced Settings button near the right of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Virtual Server.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Vuze requires you to forward the ports you entered above. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Virtual Server menu.
|Customized Applications||External Port||Protocol
When you're finished, click Apply near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
And that's it! You're done!
Now that you have forwarded ports for Vuze on the Trendnet TEW-411BRP+ you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
