Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the Virata DSL906EU-WebCom router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the NAT inboundrule menu and then click Create.

When you're finished, click Save config near the left of the screen to save your changes.

Now that you have forwarded ports for Synology RS407 on the Virata DSL906EU-WebCom you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
