To setup port forwarding on the Xavi X7721r+ router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:
Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.
It's ok if you don't know your Xavi X7721r+ router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:
In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your Xavi X7721r+ router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.
Click the Ok button to log in to your Xavi X7721r+ router.

If you can't login to your router because you forgot your Xavi X7721r+ router username and password, use our How to Reset a Router Password guide to set your Xavi X7721r+ router back to its factory settings.
Now that you are logged in to your Xavi X7721r+ router you should see the following:
Click the Advanced Settings link near the left of the page.
You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click NAPT.
Click the Add Reserved Mapping link near the center of the page.
We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. TELNET requires you to forward the 23 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Add Reserved Mapping menu and then click Add Reserved Mapping.

And that is it! You are done!
Now that you have forwarded ports for TELNET on the Xavi X7721r+ you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
