Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the ZTE ZXV10-W300 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the ZTE ZXV10-W300 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your ZTE ZXV10-W300 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your ZTE ZXV10-W300 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

Login To The ZTE ZXV10-W300 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your ZTE ZXV10-W300 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default ZTE ZXV10-W300 Router Username is: admin

The Default ZTE ZXV10-W300 Router Password is: admin


Click the Login button to log in to your ZTE ZXV10-W300 router.

Click the Advanced button near the top of the page.

Click the Port Forwarding link near the left of the page.

Put a dot into the User radio button.

Click the New button near the bottom of the page.

Forward Ports 3783 on the ZTE ZXV10-W300

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Microsofts Flight Simulator X requires you to forward the 3783,6073,6500,6515,6667,13139,23456,27900,28900,29900-29901 ports. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Rule Management menu and then click Submit.

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Rule Management page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Submit.

Select the applications you just created in the Available Rules list, then click the Add > button to move them to the Applied Rules box.

When you're finished, click Save near the top of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!


Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for Microsofts Flight Simulator X on the ZTE ZXV10-W300 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
