Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the ZyXEL X550N router your device needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

Login to the ZyXEL X550N Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

You should see a box prompting you for your ZyXEL X550N password. Enter the password now.

Click the Login button to log in to your ZyXEL X550N router.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click NAT.

Forward Ports 80,6667,10308 on the ZyXEL X550N

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Application page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Apply.
