Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape.
Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.62.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default the username is admin, and the password is 1234. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.
Click the Advanced link at the top right hand side of your screen.
Click the Filters link at the top of your screen.
The page above lets you allow traffic into and out of your router. We need to add the ports you are going to forward to this page. Use the Filtering Layer drop down box to select Port Filtering. The Proto Num box should be grayed out, so we will not enter anything in it. Use the Direction drop down box to select Both. Enter the port range to allow into the Private Port Range box. The lowest port number in the range should go into the box on the left. The highest port number in the range should go into the box on the right. If you only plan on forwarding one port enter that port number into both of these boxes. If you are unsure of the port range/ranges check the Ports list page or the software manufacture's homepage. Use the Protocol drop down box to select the port protocol. If you are unsure of the protocol used by the program you are forwarding ports for select Both. When you are finished adding ports, click the Apply button at the bottom of the page. Go ahead and click the Special Apps button at the top of your screen.
Use the protocol drop down box to select the protocol used by the trigger and incoming ports. If you are unsure of the protocol type select Both. Enter the trigger port range into the Trigger Port Range box. The lowest port number in the range should go into the box on the left hand side. The highest port number in the range should go into the box on the right hand side. If there is only one trigger port associated with that program, then enter that trigger port number into both boxes. You may notice that there are not incoming ports specified on this page. I have a feeling that when the trigger port is active, your port triggering configuration allows any data trying to come into your network in. Keep that in mind while using port triggering with this router. Put 30000 into the Maximum Activity Interval box. Set session chaining to disabled. The Address Replacement drop down box should also be set to disable. Also disable the Multi Hosts drop down box.
When you are finished configuring the router, click the Apply button at the bottom of page to save your settings. And that's it! You're done!
