Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape.
Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.0.1.
You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default both the username and password are blank. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.
Click the Advanced button at the left hand of your screen.
Click the Internet link to get to the Advanced Internet menu.
Click the Special Applications button to get to the Special Applications menu.
Put a check in the check box that is to the left of the name box. Enter the name of the service/application you wish to setup in the Name box. It doesn't matter what you put into this box, but something that will remind you why this configuration is here would be a good idea. Use the Incoming Ports Type drop down box to select the protocol type of the ports to forward. Enter the ports to forward into the Incoming Ports Start and Incoming Ports Finish boxes. Put the lowest port number of the range into the Incoming Ports Start. The highest port number of the range should go into the Incoming Ports Finish box. Use the Outgoing Ports Type drop down box to select the protocol type you chose in the PortTrigger application. Put the trigger port you setup in the PortTrigger application into both the Outgoing Ports Start box and the Outgoing Ports Finish box.
When you are finished adding these configurations, click the Save button at the bottom of your screen. Be sure to save your settings and reboot your router before these changes take effect. And that's it! You are done!
