Cisco Linksys

Cisco Linksys is actually the name of two separate companies. Both Cisco and Linksys have been around since the mid-eighties. However Cisco bought Linksys in 2003 and the products since then have been branded as Cisco Linksys. These routers are very simple to configure and the port forwarding section is no different.

Find Your Cisco Linksys Guide

Below you can see we have a list of our port forwarding guides for the Cisco Linksys routers. Go ahead and select your router model below. If you don't see your exact router model below go ahead and try our Cisco Linksys E1500 guide. Most Cisco Linksys routers have the same user interface, meaning if you can port forward in one of their routers you can probably port forward in just about all of them. This router guide should get you the port forward you need.

Use a VPN Instead

Have you considered using a VPN instead of forwarding a port? For most users, a VPN is a much simpler and more secure choice than forwarding a port.

NordVPN birthday deal!

We use and recommend NordVPN because not only is it the fastest VPN, it includes a new feature called Meshnet that makes forwarding a port no longer necessary for most applications. With NordVPN Meshnet, you can connect to your devices from anywhere in the world, completely secure, over a highly encrypted VPN tunnel.

Every time you click on one of our affiliate links, such as NordVPN, we get a little kickback for introducing you to the service. Think of us as your VPN wingman.
