PFConfig will log into your router and configure it based on the applications you tell it that you want to foward.

It will only forward applications that you tell it you want to use.

It uses the Internet Explorer engine to configure your router.

If you have a software firewall turned on, PFConfig does not modify it.

PFConfig does not configure the Windows firewall.

PFConfig does not solve double routing issues (also known as double NAT).

PFConfig does not configure ZoneAlarm firewall.

PFConfig does not configure Norton Internet Security.

If your router has a hardware firewall that is seperate from its NAT firewall, PFConfig does not modify it.
