Port Forwarding on Your Router for Resident Evil Re:Verse

Resident Evil Re:Verse is a Third-Person, Survival, Action, and Shooter game published by Capcom released in 2023.

When you play Resident Evil Re:Verse you will encounter the following styles of play.

• The main viewpoint in a third person is over the shoulder of the character that you are playing. Games like Tomb Raider are considered a 3rd person platformer while Gears of War is a great example of a 3rd person shooter. Some games allow you to switch between 3rd and 1st person like Skyrim.
• In a survival game you simply need to stay alive. Some have waves of enemies that get harder with each wave. Many are horror based, supernatural, or post-apocalyptic. They generally focus on conserving resources such as ammo and health, and sometimes employ elements of stealth.

Some shooters are short lived arcade style, but most have both a single player mission series and some have a large multiplayer following. Common shooters include Call of Duty and Battlefield.

When you are playing Resident Evil Re:Verse you might need to forward some ports in your router. Before you can forward a port you need to know the following things:

• Your router's IP address.
• Your gaming machine's IP address.
• The TCP and UDP ports to forward.

The easiest way to locate your router's IP address is to run our free Router Detector utility. It's a part of the Network Utilities suite of tools and it's completely free to use.

Most people use our Network Utilities software package to forward ports. It's the fastest way to forward ports when you need them and then close them when you do not. You can also do it by hand.

The usual process for forwarding a port is:

• Login to your router.
• Find your routers port forwarding section.
• Put the IP address of your computer or gaming console in the applicable box in your router.
• Put the TCP and UDP ports for your game in the corresponding boxes in your router.
• Sometimes you have to reboot your router for the changes to take effect.
