We have created some how-to videos to help you get started using PFConfig.
Please note: These videos were created with PFConfig version 2.0.1, which is now the old version. We are currently creating new versions with PFConfig 3.0.4 and will post them here as soon as they are ready. In the mean time these videos are still a great way to see how the process of forwarding a port works with PFConfig.
This is a very basic video that shows how simple PFConfig is to use. After installing and setting PFConfig up, what you see in this video is all that you have to do to forward a port.
This video shows you what questions PFConfig asks after first installing it, including where to put your registration number, how to pick your router from the list, and where to enter your router's username and password
This is a more advanced video that shows how to use both PFConfig and PFPortTester to not only forward a port but also verify that the port got forwarded correctly. In this example we create a custom port forward and also inspect the routers port forwarding page to see exactly what changes PFConfig makes.
This video shows you the steps to take to trouble shoot PFConfig if your router is not listed in the list of supported routers. It also covers generating a ticket number and requesting help using the methods that are built in to PFConfig.
