You may need to forward ports in your router when you use Imagine World Client. A port forward allows incoming connection requests from the internet to go straight to Imagine World Client.
Routers are not designed to allow incoming network requests. By forwarding ports you can work around this limitation.
Before You Forward a Port
Make sure that you know these things before forwarding a port:
- Your router's internal IP address.
- Your computer's IP address.
- Each of the TCP and UDP ports that you need to forward.
Use a VPN Instead

Setting Up a Port Forward for Imagine World Client

Another option is to go through the process of forwarding ports one step at a time. The step-by-step process for forwarding a port is:
- Log in to your router.
- Locate your routers port forwarding section.
- Put your computer's IP address in the proper box in your router.
- Put the TCP and UDP ports for Imagine World Client in the corresponding boxes in your router.
You probably will need to reboot your router for the changes to take effect.
