How to Forward Ports in Your Router for Roller Champions

Roller Champions is Ubisoft's Action and Sports game released in 2020.

Roller Champions has the following styles of gameplay.

  • Action games are fast paced and tend to put the player in the middle of the action, requiring you to jump over obstacles, climb ladders, and shoot things.
  • Sports games can be either realistic or satirical, and can be either competitive or simply entertaining. Most sports games involve both physics and tactics and take place in some sort of arena.

How to Port Forward Roller Champions

Roller Champions is a multiplayer game which means that it will probably need open ports. It's pretty common to have strange connection issues get fixed when you forward a port for a multiplayer game. Unfortunately we don't know which ports Roller Champions uses yet. We are going to have to figure out which ports need to be forwarded first. We'll do this together.

  1. Download our free software called Network Utilities and install it.
  2. Launch Network Utilities, and then click the Port Finder button. Port Finder is free to use.
  3. Be sure to follow the instructions closely because finding game ports can be challenging.
  4. The Port Finder will upload port information to us and we'll add it to the site after looking at it.

Ports Required for Roller Champions

Usually a game will only open up the port in "listen mode" when it's needed. This means you'll have to put your game into some sort of multiplayer mode in order for us to detect the necessary ports properly. We'll watch the game running and look for which ports it opens up to see which ports might need to be forwarded.

Usually games will use the same port every time they are launched so we only need to collect this port data once. Some games and applications use a random numbered port at each launch and we'll only be able to figure that out over multiple runs possibly even from multiple different users.

Occasionally a game will require a huge number of ports to be forwarded because it opens up a random port within a range. Over time we should be able to figure out that range because we'll notice that all users need a port open in the same range.

How To locate Ports for Roller Champions

This is a brief rundown of all the things that Port Finder will do:

  • Examine the exact ports that Roller Champions has open. These are the exact ports for Roller Champions.
  • Wait for you to attempt to do something multiplayer, which might open up additional ports.
  • Package up the specific incoming ports in a neat little package and send it to our server for sharing.

Our servers will collect all of the required ports that need to be forwarded used by multiple users and intelligently combine them into a single list of ports required. This will become the list that we recommend everyone forwards in their router.

As soon as we locate the ports for Roller Champions we will list them on this page.
