When setting up a home network, the most important device is the router. The way that most home networks are set-up is to have a router as the only device connected to the internet. If you want to really customize your home network, then you need to learn how to configure your router.

Creating a port forward is the first step to getting an open port in your AM Telecom router.

Below is our list of AM Telecom routers. Choose the router that most closely matches yours.

If you can not find your router below, then choose one that has a similar name. Most AM Telecom routers have an almost identical interface, so you should be able to use a guide from a different model.

Your currently selected ports are for: Xbox Live.

Use a VPN Instead

Have you considered using a VPN instead of forwarding a port? For most users, a VPN is a much simpler and more secure choice than forwarding a port.

NordVPN faster than ever deal!

We use and recommend NordVPN because not only is it the fastest VPN, it includes a new feature called Meshnet that makes forwarding a port no longer necessary for most applications. With NordVPN Meshnet, you can connect to your devices from anywhere in the world, completely secure, over a highly encrypted VPN tunnel.

Every time you click on one of our affiliate links, such as NordVPN, we get a little kickback for introducing you to the service. Think of us as your VPN wingman.
