How To Open Ports in Your Router for Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project

Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project is a 2D, Action, Shoot-Em-Up, and Platformer game published by Arush Entertainment, Ubisoft, Apogee Software, Microsoft Game Studios, Interceptor Entertainment released in 2002.

Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project has the following genres of gameplay.

  • In a 2D style game the graphics are usually more flat and do not have a 3D appearance. Some 2D games will have flat graphics with a 3D appearance to them but they are still considered 2D games.
  • Action games are fast paced and tend to put the player in the middle of the action, requiring you to jump over obstacles, climb ladders, and shoot things.
  • Shoot 'em up games are games where the player character engages in a lone assault, often in a spacecraft or aircraft, shooting large numbers of enemies while dodging their attacks. A smart way to forward your ports is to use Network Utilities. Since Network Utilities allows you to both forward and un-forward ports easily you can keep your network security maximized, and then forward ports only when you need them. Alternatively you can do it by hand.

The process for forwarding a port is generally:

  • Open a web browser and navigate to your router's IP address.
  • Find your routers port forwarding section.
  • Put the IP address of your computer or gaming console in the correct box in your router.
  • Put the TCP and UDP ports for your game in the corresponding boxes in your router.
  • On occasion you have to reboot your router for the changes to take effect.
