We're gonna cheat a little bit here. You're suppose to do this once you've unlock the Sun Form to light up dark areas. But still, you can get the treasure now. Find a small dark cave.
Swim through the ceiling. In the dark, swim right and down untill eventually..
you'll find the Odd Container treasure.
Open your Treasure Menu to see it.
Save at the Save Crystal and then head all the way to the right, follow the path that leads you to a new area.
