A MAC address is a unique id that all network devices have. The MAC (Media Access Control) address identifies the device on a network. You can usually find the MAC address printed on the underside of the device. If you do not see it there, you can find it by looking in the software menu. These guides explain, in detail, what MAC addresses look like and how you can find them.
