Riven is a First-Person and Adventure game published by Cyan Worlds with a currently unknown release date.
Riven includes the following styles of gameplay.
- First person games are viewed from the player looking forward. They behave much like simulations in that your controls are mapped to move the main player around relative to where you are looking.
- An adventure game is where the player is usually the protagonist and plays through an evolving story. The storyline is the driving part of an adventure game.
How to Port Forward Riven
Since Riven is a single player game there should not be any need to forward ports for it. Generally speaking only multiplayer games need a port forwarded. Frequently it is possible that a single player game might need a port forwarded for things like: downloading new content, updates, and license activation. Any time you want to you can run our Port Finder application to see if Riven is opening up any ports to know for sure. When you are done running Port Finder it will show you the required incoming ports.
- Start by downloading Port Forward Network Utilities for free.
- When the install completes start Network Utilities and then find the Port Finder button.
- Follow the instructions on screen to use the Port Finder application to locate your game's ports.
- The incoming ports will be added to our site as soon as a site admin reviews them.
How To locate Ports for Riven
Here's what Port Finder is going to do:
- Look at which ports Riven has open in "listen" mode. These are the required incoming ports for Riven.
- Watch which ports open and close as you run the game and try to join a multiplayer match.
- Package up the network ports in a neat little package and send it to our server for sharing.
Our servers will collect all of the incoming ports used by multiple users and intelligently combine them into a single list of ports required. Then we will use this list to help other people know what to forward.
