Port Forwarding the 3com 3CP4130 Router for XBOX360 Blazing Birds

Before Forwarding a Port Setup a Static IP Address

To setup port forwarding on the 3com 3CP4130 router your computer needs to have a static IP address. You should complete one of the following steps first:

• Either try our free program that will setup a static IP address for you called PF Setup Static IP.
• Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address.

Now that you have setup a Static IP Address on your computer, please enter the IP address that you assigned to your computer here:

Login to the 3com 3CP4130 Router

Now we need to know your routers IP address. You can find it a variety of ways.

How To Find Your 3com 3CP4130 Router IP Address

It's ok if you don't know your 3com 3CP4130 router's internal IP address. You can find it by doing one of the following:

• Either find your router IP address using this guide: How To Find Your Routers IP Address
• Or you can use our Free Software to find your router IP address. PF Static IP Address and PF Router Detector are both free software applications that will help you find your router IP address.

Login To The 3com 3CP4130 Router Using Your Web Browser

Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the internal IP address of your 3com 3CP4130 router. By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.200.254.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.

The Default 3com 3CP4130 Router Username is: admin

The Default 3com 3CP4130 Router Password is: 1234

Click the Ok button to log in to your 3com 3CP4130 router.

How to Port Forward XBOX360 Blazing Birds on the 3com 3CP4130

Now that you are logged in to your 3com 3CP4130 router you should see the following:

Click the Configuration link near the left of the page.

Click the Remote Site Profiles button near the center of the page.

There is most likely only one option in the list on this page. Go ahead and click it, then click Modify.

Click the Next button near the bottom of the page.

Clicking the TCP or UDP button on this page will bring you to the page that we will use to forward ports.

Forward Port 3074 on the 3com 3CP4130

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. XBOX360 Blazing Birds requires you to forward the 3074 ports. If the text above says UDP instead of TCP, go back to the previous page and select UDP to get the proper configuration page. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Remote Site Name: add menu and then click Add.

Forward Port 3074 on the 3com 3CP4130

You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Remote Site Name: add page. If the text above says UDP instead of TCP, go back to the previous page and select UDP to get the proper configuration page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add.

	Private IP Address:
	Private UDP Port:

When you're finished, click Save Configuration near the left of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports for XBOX360 Blazing Birds on the 3com 3CP4130 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
