Ch 1 - Forest Ambush
Head in to the open area.
You will be challenged by some idiot who thinks he can kill you. Once you take his head off walk over to the wheel and give it a spin.
Spinning the wheel will open a gate on the far side of the bridge. Continue on past the bridge and you will have a couple more peons to kill.
There are a couple vases that contain life recharges in the area. You will find these throughout the entire game. Break one if you need health.
Walk over to the box containing swords and pick one up by pressing the X button. Aim yourself at the metal gong and press X again to throw the sword.
When you ring the gong the door should open.
