Ch 2 - No Turning Back
Cut the rope to release the pillar. The pillar will fall and you will have a nice ride to the next group of enemies.
Once you kill the first batch, a couple of large guards will break the door down. These guards have powerful red swings which are unblockable.
So use the right stick to roll out of the way when they swing. This area is fairly tough, but there are quite a few health jars lying around.
If you get low on life, just run over and crack one open. When the fight is over run down the hallway and hit the gong to open the door.
