Advanced
To begin the pirating, board your ship by clicking over your boat.
This will launch a grappling hook and your character (and crew) will climb it accordingly.
The same motion of events is done if you're on your ship and click above land.
This will be your base of operations while roaming the seven seas..
And the first of your character's action on this vessel will be to poop. Alot.
Poo makes food items decay faster and generally decreases the morale of your crew. To remove this poo, you will need to either 1. Learn the TP "Poo Properly" or 2. Learn the TP "Cleaning".
For now, press ESC and go to your Ship Setup.
Click food..
Select the Ramen..
And place it down on your ship somewhere.
Once your character is hungry and idle, he will go to the food and consume a portion of it.
When done, press ESC and go to World Map.
This is the world map. It is the basis of all your navigation in the game besides walking.
The yellow C indicates your Current location.
The red faces symbolize a hostile pirate ship. If you are close enough, It will also display what danger this pirate ship will be.
The small blue icons symbolize Islands uninhabited by civilization. They are also filled in dangers that range from camping pirates, cannibals to wild life.
The very large yellow icons symbolize "Legendary" enemies. These are essentially the end-game bosses and should be avoided at all cost until you are as ready as you can be with dozens of hours into the game.
There are four in total of these legendary bosses and they are all incredibly dangerous in their own way.
For now, select an enemy pirate ship at (1) danger and sail there by clicking "Sail To Destination".
Clicking "Sail to destination" will take you to a travelling scene where your boat is "sailing" to the destination.
Here, your character will idle, read books if there are any, lift weights if there are any, eat food, talk to other crewmembers, clean and maintain the ship and do other essential tasks.
You can see on how much there is left to "Travel" at the top right where a percentage is shown, indicating on how close you are to the selected target.
Once it reaches 100%, this scene will appear. It can also appear randomly when you are traveling but that is quite rare. For now, click Interact to engage the pirate ship.
Click close and..
You will be taken to the battle stage.
As the enemy is very low and unskilled, he does not know how to board people. Meaning, you will have to board him. Do this by clicking above his ship with your character.
You can find out most of an opponents strength by mousing over him.
Once aboard, jump down from the railing where you boarded to avoid being knocked back into the water and engage the enemy by clicking at him once.
You and your opponent will then proceed to trade blows.
With your Falcon blade, the first enemies will be pieces of cake to defeat. Once dead, the enemy will drop gold and random items
In this case, he gave me 448 experience and gave me a total of 6 gold. However, this is not the biggest source of gold income there is in Pixel Piracy because you can also..
Destroy enemy containers such as this urn..
To net you even more gold and xp.
Once done, re-board your own vessel again..
And click this "Plunder" button to explode the enemy's boat in pieces and salvage the remains.
This will net you a very significant amount of gold.
Once done, press ESC and choose your next victim.
Repeat this process until you're donning atleast 10 VIT (Vitality).
Never forget to Plunder. It will be your biggest gold income.
After a while, you should be ready for level 2's.
These foes will either be much stronger individually or come in pairs of two.
Single ones are best, because your character will constantly fuzzle into the mindset of hitting whoever is closer. And since there is knockback, damage will be spread thin between several people.
Stop at towns for resupplying and more crew if you need to.
At this point when you can take on Lvl 2's, you can start pimping out your ship as there's not much to spend on in the beginning and you earn a whole lot as time progresses.
Two on one battles are very dangerous. For one..
Opponents will know how to board your ship.
While also being more powerful.
Taking on more pirates than you have yourself is a massive bother and will probably be the prime suspect of your first death.
They do however, flee back to their own ship when low on health. Meaning, you'll have to board them to finish them off.
Be sure you jump down to the actual deck of the ship to avoid being knocked off the entire boat and instantly dying (Without knowing the SWIMMING TP)
