When you can get your second power and you go back to the temple, the Mourning King will be waiting for you.
He is not that tough compared to the other things you've been fighting.
Elika will not help you fight him, so don't count on her for support.
She will tell you not to hurt him. Don't listen to her.
If you can grab him, you will knock him down and do some major damage.
When you've beat him down long enough, Elika will jump in and stop the fight.
