Opening Ports for Icon Time Systems RTC-1000 using Your Router

When you use Icon Time Systems RTC-1000 you might need to forward some ports in your router. A port forward allows incoming connection requests from the internet to go straight to Icon Time Systems RTC-1000.

Routers do not generally allow incoming connection requests from the internet. A port forward can overcome this limitation.

Before forwarding a port make sure that you know these things:

• The internal IP address of your router.
• Your device's internal IP address.
• Each of the TCP and UDP ports that you need to forward.
