How To Open Ports in Your Router for QNAP TS-659 Pro

You may need to forward ports in your router when you use a QNAP TS-659 Pro device. By forwarding ports you allow connection requests coming from the internet to be directed to a QNAP TS-659 Pro device.

Routers are not designed to allow incoming network requests. A port forward can overcome this limitation.

• Log in to your router.
• Find the port forwarding section in your router.
• Put your NAS's IP address in the proper box in your router.
