Forwarding Ports in Your Router for QSee QSDF8204

When you use a QSee QSDF8204 DVR you might need to forward some ports in your router. A port forward allows incoming connection requests from the internet to go straight to a QSee QSDF8204 DVR.

Routers generally do not allow incoming connection requests from the internet. By forwarding ports you can work around this limitation.

• You can start by logging in to your router.
• Locate your routers port forwarding section.
• Put the IP address of your DVR in the proper box in your router.
