Act II: The Return of the Prodigal
Back in Didi's room go towards the door and interact with the object that's emitting gold dust. She'll then ask you to come with her to the circus.
Follow Didi out the door and interact with the photo of Johnny and Kat on the wall by the stairs, then go down and interact with the letters on the table.
Go out the front door and hug the wall where the shadows are. Shift in and press the right mouse button to dash through each of the shadow until you get to the other side.
You can also perform a jumping dash by pressing space, then pressing the right mouse button at the pick of your jump.
Get inside the tent and you'll see Vincenzo and Johnny having a conversation about everything that's wrong with the circus. Naturally you'll fix all of them.
Get out of the tent and climb down the bridge, then turn right and climb down the stairs to find the carousel. You'll have to use this to get the hot air balloon, but you need luminaries to power it up.
There's a luminary at the back of the carousel, so that's one down and one more to go.
Turn to the left of the carousel and follow that path down. Turn left again as you exit the alley and you'll find a film reel floating about. Pass through it to get it to play a scene.
Jump on the smaller man's head, then wait for the larger one to bend down and jump on his arm. Run up to his head as he bends down and jump onto the balcony. Grab the luminary and return to Didi.
Get the carousel working then jump on one of the horses's tail. From there jump towards the right, onto another horse's head.
When you get to the light post, time your jump accordingly and dash through it to make it to the horse on the other side. Then jump on the pipe shadow and shift out of the shadows.
Now look towards the billboard to the right of the roof that you're standing on and jump onto it.
Make sure that when you jump, you aim for the center of the billboard. Just enough so you could shift into the billboard and not fall off the moment you reach it.
Continue towards the baclony on the other side and Didi will help you cross it. Jump on the beam that she's holding up and onto the roof on the other side of it.
From that roof, you can jump onto the top of the carousel and touch the beacon to make it work.
Go back to the roof and jump onto one of the star shadows with a tail behind it. Keep yourself to the far right end of the start and dash through the obstacles.
Jump onto the top of the billboard and jump towards the ledge on the building right next to it. There's a pipe there that you can climb on.
At the rooftop, cling to the left and shift into the shadow. Make your way through the festival banners and towards the other side.
Jump towards the veranda on the next house and shift into the shadows again, then make your way to the other side. Use dash if the stars get in your way.
Go to the back of the building and up the fire escape ladder. You'll find the balloon's binding on the other side of it. Didi will help you come down, now there's two more to fix.
From where Didi pulled you down, hop the fence and head straight forward into the attraction with a forest theme.
You'll once again find Didi inside and you need to play the role of the princess.
Go to the stage and turn left. You'll find a chest there, take the princess's cap on top of it then shift into the spotlight on the stage.
Wait for the opening naration to finish, then make your way across the forest.
When you get to the tree, jump onto the small stump and then on the hanging branch of the tree. The play will temporarily disable your ability to dash through shadows.
Not so long after that is a windmill. Run across the windmill and wait for one of the wings to come from underneath. Jump on it and use it to get above the tree.
At the crocodile platform, wait for them to close their mouths then jump on top of their heads and use them to make your way to the other side.
The magical mushroom tree is a tricky one. Jump over the first mushroom if you can, but you'll need to press the third mushroom first before hitting the second one. Step on the second one about 1 second later.
Wait for the branch to go up and when it does, jump towards the next branch and onto the tree on the right side.
You'll find the ogre soon after the mushrooms. Stand near the tree stump and wait for the ogre to try and club you. As the ogre's hand comes down, move to the left and he'll get his club stuck on the stump.
Stand near the tree and wait for the ogre to turn around and try to smash you with his club. Jump just as soon as he thrusts it forward to get him to hit the tree.
Climb over his head and jump across his back and away from the tree just before it hits the ground.
Next is the spider. Make your way across the entrance and stop at the pit with skewers. Wait for Johnny to finish his naration, then shift out and take the umbrella from the chest (same one you got the princess cap from).
Now that you have the umbrella, shift back inside the story and make your way down the cavern with its help.
When you get to the bottom you'll be stuck in a spider's web. Press jump repeatedly until the web breaks, then make a run for it.
As the boulder continues to roll after you, you'll see a small gap underneath the path. Hide there and wait for the boulder to lock in place.
Keep walking to the right and you'll see another boulder which is actually a spider and it will run after you. Keep yourself up high on the platforms instead of walking below.
Climb up to the top where a boulder is being held by two webs. Make sure to be on the right side first, jump onto the web and break it then do the same for the other one. Don't worry about the spider, it can't climb any higher than this.
Climb up on the path where the rocks fell from and attach yourself to the web to break Fred the useful free.
Now on to the dragon's lair. This one is easy and probably the shortest. Run to the right and run back whenever a boulder comes down. That's it.
When you get to the next platform, use the geysers to avoid the boulders. Continue to the right until you find Fred.
Jump across Fred and towards the dragon, it'll start moving at that point quickly jump back to the other side and the dragon will accidentally burn off Fred's bindings. Do it three times until Fred is free.
Now that you're done with that attraction, leave the puppet show and run towards the large ship on the other side of the port.
Go down the left side of the room and take the wooden crate. Carry it back up.
Shift into the shadows and bring the wooden box to the right, then place it down there within the shadows.
Jump on top of the box and shift out as you reach full height to grab on the ledge. Pull yourself up and press the switch to activate the walkway.
To the left of the room is another wooden box. Take it and place it on the red mechanism on the floor.
Go back down and take the first wooden box you found, carry it back up. Turn right and hug the wall, then shift into the shadows and bring the box inside the control room then place it on the blue mechanism.
Use the ship wheel and turn it until it won't move anymore. It'll start turning back on it's own once you leave, so head for the wall on the opposite side.
Shift into the shadow and wait for one of the ship wheel's poles to carry you up, then jump on the platform at the left side.
Wait for another one to come, then jump on the square end of it. Jump up towards the higher platform once you're high enough to reach it.
Take the wooden box and shift into the shadows again. Wait for the ship wheel to take you to the other side, then shift out and place the box on the last mechanism.
Turn right and grab the luminary, then ride on the boat with Didi.
Climb up the walkway on the right and press the switch to fire the cannon ball. Unfortunately you'll miss.
Go to the opposite wall and climb up the stacked boxes. Jump and shift into the shadows when the octopus tentacle is low enough for you to reach.
As the octopus tentacle goes up, jump towards the platform. Open the door on the other side, then take the ball and shift into the shadows.
Shift back into the wall just before the crane and place the ball directly underneath the crane's shadow. Now operate the machine again and it will work.
Now go back to the cart with Didi to continue down the ride.
Go down the lowest floor and take the metal ball, then bring it up to the third floor. Hug the left wall and shift into the shadow, leave the ball on the far left side of the pipe.
Return to the bridge and use the controls to elevate the shadow, now return to the ball and place it into the cannon.
Go down the bottom floor and place your luminaries into the door to open it, now follow Didi inside.
Wait for Didi to approach her side of the generator switch, then man the other one. Wait for her to say "Go!" then interact with the switch to activate it.
Return to the tent, the one where Vincenzo is performing. Another cutscene will start soon after.
