Growing Up Fast
The quest will start immediately after the game will skip forward nine years, in fact this is the character's 10th birthday. You will have to make sure to talk to everyone and receive your gifts in order to advance, one of the gifts that you will receive is the Pip-Boy 3000.
After talking to everyone, James will tell you to go downstairs to the reactor room and check out their surprise for you.
Once you've reached the reactor room, James will give you a BB gun and tell you to head inside the nearby room.
Once you're inside the room, you will have to shoot 3 targets and kill a radroach.
After dealing with the radroach, James will ask Jonas to take a picture together.
The game will skip once again six years. The quest will end and the next one will start.
