Turn on your eagle vision. You will be able to see your target right away. It's the gold person.
You need to tail your target. It's pretty important to be anonymous prior to starting this mission. You can just follow him, and guards generally will not bother you.
I ended up hiring some girls. I don't really know why. Really it's just a waste of coin.
Anyways the guy you are tailing will walk along very slowly. Follow him, and try not to get too close.
Eventually he will approach the Southern Gate to the city. There are a whole line of guards there. So you don't want to go that way.
Go down towards the guards, and then to the right. You will see this scafolding up against the wall.
Climb it and make your way over the wall. You are too far away from your target so a timer has started. Don't worry about it, we'll get close to him very soon.
Drop off the wall. Jumping will do some damage to you.
Run towards the city gates. You target will be emerging from the city. So the timer should go away.
Your target will walk down the road leading to the right.
Keep following your target. There are guards in pairs down the road. As your target passes them, they will fall in behind your target.
When the guards are all gone move forward.
Don't follow your target exactly, stay on top of the ruins.
You need to get close enough to the meeting that you can spy on the people in it.
Move closer and closer. Eventually you will get a cutscene.
Here's the cutscene.
When the cutscene is over, you will be surrounded by guards. You can run over to the old dying man and execute him, or you can stand and fight.
I like to fight.
When the guards are all dead, put the old guy out of his misery.
With Friends Like These should now be Synched.
