The Dark Within
Back in The Steppes, your objective is farther off this time, and will require a bit of hiking. As with before, you'll be able to explore at your leisure alongside other players if you want to, and there's plenty of replenishing Fallen and Loot Chests to find and/or kill. Follow the waypoint as it goes along the cliffside down the left and through to the Mothyards.
The Mothyards is littered with the ruins of aircraft, with even more seen rusting across the water. These ruined ships make for great cover, and places to find chests and the Fallen. You might even run into a public event, where people in the region and fend off waves of enemies for a reward. If that's not your thing, keep heading to the giant building in the distance while eliminating any enemies you find.
You're objective is the giant satellite building directly across the mothyards. Prior to entering the building, circle around the mountains following the waterfall on the right side of the map. Follow until you see a rock face with a small waterfall pouring over it. Jump up the rock face to enter a cave behind the small waterfall. In the cave is a loot box containing a heavy weapon. Return to the satellite building and enter.
As you enter the giant satellite building, the entrance will probably be guarded by a Vandal Captain leading some minions. Take his shield down with a grenade before finishing him off and take out his minions too. Once you head inside, it will be just you - and you're Fire-team if you have one.
You'll be in a Darkness Zone once again, so try not to die! Your Ghost will unlock a gate sealed by the Fallen - and for good reason, the interior looks pretty gross. Your Ghost will have a bad feeling about this, and that can only mean one thing. As you enter the pitch black room, The Hive will come swarming out. These Thralls aren't ones for guns, instead they'll rush straight at you, so backpedal and fill them with bullets.
Ghost 08: Once you enter the Lunar Complex, make your way upstairs in the dark. Using your flashlight to guide your path, stay on the right wall until you reach a machine. The Dead Ghost can be found on top.
Heading upstairs, your Ghost will alert you to the presence of a Wizard - Gotra, Eir Spawn. Clear out the Thralls and Acolytes in the upstairs area before heading into the room with a fireball throwing shielded Wizard.
Avoid his projectiles and hit him with your special weapons if you can. He can be quite agile so keep on him until he drops, completing the mission for you.
Gold Chest 02: In the room with the Wizard, look for the enclosed area with a floodlight and jump up above the room where another floodlight is, behind some fences here is another Gold Loot Chest. If you are unable to retrieve this before the missions end
