An End to Darcsen Hunting
There are lots of troops hiding in the grass in this mission. The key is to take out the ones you have to while making your way to block the exits.
Then when they leave cover, take them out.
As always deploy Alicia and Largo. Rosie is already deployed along with Welkin, and Zaka.
This mission is pretty tough. There are a lot of guys hiding in the grass, and there are also two tanks on the map.
We are going to need a lot of shock troopers for this mission. Deploy one scout other than Alicia, and fill the rest of the postions with shock troopers.
Turn 1 We need to block the two exits of this area, so when the enemy retreats it can not get away.
Select the scout you placed in the West most position. Run that scout up the ramp towards the South West exit.
Use a rifle grenade to take out the sniper a little further down the ledge.
Leave this scout hiding behind the baricades up here. Now select Alicia.
Run her up the ramp to the East. Keep to the very East of the road here.
You will see a couple shock troopers in the grass past the tree. Use your rifle grenade to blow the closest one of them out of his cover.
Now select one of your shock troopers. Run him up the same ramp. Have him finish off the shock trooper that was knocked out of the grass.
Spend another point on the shock trooper you ran up here, and have him grenade the other enemy shock trooper out of the grass.
Run this shock trooper farther North on this trail.
Select another one of your shock troopers at your base.
Run this shock trooper in the grass until you find the sniper. Toss a grenade at the sniper, and then crawl in the grass.
Select another one of your shock troopers. Have her run up the ramp to the East.
On her way by the sniper you just threw a grenade at have her toss another grenade at him, if he is not already dead. Then run up the trail to the North as far as you can go. Spend another point on this shock trooper.
Run as far as you can up the trail to the North. On the way stop and take out the enemy shock trooper that is standing to your left.
Now select Largo. Have him run up this trail to the North. Spend another command point on Largo. Go past the tree and then to the West.
You will see the back side of a tank up here. Go ahead and take that tank out.
Turn 2 Select Alicia.
Run her West to the ledge. You will see a named shock trooper Fujmolt the Edge laying in the grass. Make sure you are South of shock trooper Fujmolt.
Have her throw one of her grenades at him to get him out of cover.
Then run her to the North, and hide her in the grass below the edge of the shelf.
Now select one of your North most shock troopers. Run them around the corner, and have them take out the named shock trooper.
Then have your shock trooper crawl in the grass. Now select your other shock trooper that is to the north.
Have them run to the North West. There is a lancer hiding in the grass here.
Use your grenade to break him from cover. Then spend anohter point on your shock trooper to finish that lancer off.
Leave this shock trooper hiding in the grass facing South. Now select Largo.
Have him walk to the edge of the ledge, and shoot the radiator on the tank below. You might have to save/load a few times to get this right.
Now that the tank is gone select Rosie.
Have her toss a grenade at the shock trooper in the grass to the North to get him out of his cover.
Then run her South West along the ledge there towards your scout.
Now select the shock trooper you had crawling in the grass next to your base. Have him finish off the shock trooper that Rosie just grenaded.
Select the last shock trooper at your base. Have him run to the North. Take out the Lancer that was firing at the Shamrock.
You should get a small cut scene about the enemy trying to pull out of the section. Okay you should be out of command points. If you have an extra one, move Rosie again. Try to get her to the South West corner.
Turn 3 Okay, you've got them pinned in now. Now it's time to take some of them down. Select Alicia.
There should be a clump of three shock troopers on the road to the North of the screen.
Put a rifle grenade right in the middle of those three shock troopers. Spend another command point on Alicia.
Have her move closer to the two shock troopers that are left. Have her take one more of them down.
Face her South West crawling in the grass to end her turn. Select your shock trooper next to Alicia.
Have him take another enemy shock trooper down. There should be one more enemy shock trooper to the North.
Select your shock trooper that is to the North, but you haven't yet selected this turn. Run them South behind the rocks.
You should come out behind that last enemy shock trooper. Take him down.
Select your shock trooper that is crawling in the grass next to your base.
Have him take out the enemy shock trooper that is on the road. Now select Rosie.
Have her run West and then North.
There are two shock troopers to take out on this ledge. Spend points on her until they are dead.
