Guarding the Refugee Camp
This mission is part of a report purchased from the reporter. Welkin, Rosie, and Largo are already deployed.
Deploy two extra shock troopers. There are a ton of enemies, and three tanks on this map. One of those tanks is a named tank.
Turn 1
Select the shock trooper that is farthest East. Have them run North East to a patch of grass there.
You will see an enemy lancer crawling in the grass by a large rock. Use your flame thrower on him.
Select your shock trooper that is farthest West.
Have her run to the North West. Leave her crawling in a patch of grass there. Select Rosie.
Have him run almost directly North. There is a small ridge with some rocks he can hide behind there.
Have her take cover behind the sandbags that are in front of the base. Select Largo.
Now select Welkin. Move him to the North. Use a morter on any of the groups of troops.
Turn 2
Select Welkin. The tanks are all bunched here. We are going to take out two enemy tanks. Roll Welkin to the North East.
There should be an enemy tank facing you. As soon as you can hang a left.
You should now be behind the tank that is on the road.
Take that tank down. There's a named tank to the North West. Roll as far as you can towards that named tank.
Spend two more command points on Welkin. Get him behind that named tank and take it down. End Welkin's turn by facing him at the last remaining tank.
Spend a command point on the shock trooper to the West. Have them take out the enemy shock trooper that is near them.
Then go North, and leave this shock trooper laying in the grass. Now spend a point on your shock trooper to the East.
Have him finish off the lancer that is crawling in the grass. That's one less thing for Welkin to worry about.
Turn 3
Select Largo, have him crawl or run behind the nearby tank to take it out. Leave him crouched in the grass there.
Look on your map and memorize where the two South most question marks are. You need to take both of those down with Rosie.
Go ahead and run her to the first one. You will see that it is a scout. Her flamethrower will take him out.
Spend another command point on Rosie, and flame the second scout hiding in the grass. Run her as far back toward the base as you can.
Select your shock trooper that was nearest the tank you just blew up.
Have him run to the North East. You will see the lancer there that keeps firing at Welkin. Using your flame thrower will take him out in one turn.
Spend the rest of your points on this same shock trooper having him take out more enemy shock troopers that are to the South.
Turn 4 Select Rosie.
Have her take out one of the shock troopers that is near her. Then run her North West.
Spend another command point on her. Run her to the North West again.
You will see a shock trooper laying in the grass near your trooper they took out. Take him out with your flame thrower.
Call for a medivac for your wounded trooper. Then run to the South. Spend another command point on Rosie.
There is a scout hiding in the grass to the South. Take him out. Then run as far North as you can. Have Rosie end her turn crawling in the grass.
Select your shock trooper that was farthest to the East. Have him take out the enemy shock trooper that is near him.
Now select Welkin. Have him lanch a morter at the sniper that is to the North East.
Turn 5
Select Rosie. Take out the shock trooper that is near her. Then run her to the North.
You will see a lancer and a sniper in the grass to the North.
Take out the sniper.
Then the lancer to end your mission.
