As soon as Michael receives Lester's text on the LSPD truck, the location will be marked on the map. The location of the truck can vary so be prepared with an automatic weapon and a bit of Body Armor. The best way to steal the LSPD truck is to create a barrier. Get ahead of the truck and then block the way.
Wait for the truck to get near and then start shooting at the officers inside. The officers have body armor, so shoot until all four of them are eliminated. With the officers down, take the LSPD van and you'll get pegged with a 3-star Wanted level.
GOLD MEDAL REQUIREMENTS: "SWIFT GETAWAY
After taking the van, you have a 10-second window to find a hiding spot, so find a garage, get out, and take cover until the heat dies down.
When the coast is clear, drive the van back to the garment factory to begin the Jewel Heist!
Mission Complete.
