Lost Labyrith Zone Boss: Trap-Filled Ruins
The first part of the battle starts off similar to Labyrinth Zone Boss in Sonic 1. You have to stay ahead of the water as much as possible and you can get a few hits in on Eggman during the chase as they count towards the 8 hits total.
Here is phase two of the battle.
As you can see, Eggman goes for the 1-hit kill by trying to crush you with these pillars. There are several different patterns so pay attention to where the pillars are coming from and find a safe spot.
Sometimes, there are safe spots directly beneath or square foot away from Eggman.
Eggman falls again.
