Forward Ports on Your Router for Surgeon Simulator 2
Surgeon Simulator 2 offers the following styles of play.
- First person games are played from the perspective of the player. They typically have a gun or other weapon held out in front, but this is not always the case. Many first person games are sometimes called "shooters" because the primary goal of the game is to shoot other players or creatures, but this is not always the case.

They attempt to mimic the real world in a way that is either educational or rewarding or both. Popular examples include SimCity, FlightGear, and Madden NFL.
Port Forward Surgeon Simulator 2
Most multiplayer games like Surgeon Simulator 2 need a port forward. It's pretty common to have strange connection issues get fixed when you forward a port for a multiplayer game. While we have been looking we haven't managed to track down the necessary ports that Surgeon Simulator 2 needs forwarded. The first step is figuring out which ports need to be forwarded. Let's tackle this problem together.
- Start by downloading Port Forward Network Utilities for free.
- After you launch Network Utilities click the Port Finder button.
- Be sure to follow the instructions closely because finding game ports can be challenging.
- The Port Finder will upload port information to us and we'll add it to the site after looking at it.
Which Ports Does Surgeon Simulator 2 Require
Most applications will open up a port in "listen mode" only while the game is in a multiplayer mode. It's important to have the Port Finder application running in the background while you attempt to make a multiplayer connection in the game or application.
Usually games will use the same port every time they are launched so we only need to collect this port data once. Some games and applications use a random numbered port at each launch and we'll only be able to figure that out over multiple runs possibly even from multiple different users.
Occasionally a game will require a large number of ports to be forwarded because it opens up a random port within a range. Over time we should be able to figure out that range because we'll notice that all users need a port open in the same range.
What Port Finder Does
This is a brief rundown of all the things that Port Finder will do:
- Examine the incoming ports that Surgeon Simulator 2 has open. These are the incoming ports for Surgeon Simulator 2.
- Wait for you to attempt to do something multiplayer, which might open up additional ports.
- Package up the necessary ports in a neat little package and send it to our server for sharing.
Our servers will collect all of the incoming ports used by multiple users and intelligently combine them into a single list of ports required. Then we will use this list to help other people know what to forward.
As soon as we find the network ports for Surgeon Simulator 2 we will list them on this page.
